Tulsi Paper Mills Pvt Ltd was incorporated in the year 2007 and subsequently in 2009 the company was taken over by Daga & Gangani family. TPMPL is engaged in manufacturing of duplex paper board which is broadly used for carton packaging in various industries like textiles, pharmaceuticals, cosmetics, food & beverages, consumer & industrial products etc. TPMPL has its manufacturing facility located at Surat, Gujarat with an installed capacity of 45,000 Metric Tonnes per Annum (MTPA) as on December 31, 2014. TPMPL also has a 3 MW coal based captive power plant (CPP). Commercial production at the manufacturing facility commenced from March 2013.
Based on FY14 (refers to the period April 1 to March 31) audited results, TPMPL reported a total operating income (TOI) of Rs.83.25 crore with a net profit of Rs.3.51 crore in its first full year of operations. Furthermore, as per 10MFY15 (refers to the period April 1 to January 31) provisional results, TPMPL achieved a TOI of Rs.89.88 crore with profit before tax of Rs.1.39 crore
