Garg Duplex & Paper Mills Pvt Ltd (GDPM) was incorporated in 1985. The company took over an already running plant (which was set up in 1989) at Muzaffarnagar in the state of Uttar Pradesh in 1991. The company is engaged in the manufacturing of Kraft paper of burst factor 16. At the time the plant was set up its manufacturing capacity was 8000 MTPA but over the years the capacity was increased and is currently 25,000 tonnes per annum.
