Shree Samrat Pulp and Paper Private Limited (SSPPPL) was incorporated in November 2010 and is promoted by Shree Ajit Pulp and Paper Limited (SAPPL) which has an equity stake of 50%, Mewar Hotels Private Limited (promoted by Mr. Pankaj K. Mansingka and his family; 25% stake) and Mr. Sundeep M. Shah (promoter of Urvashi Pulp and Paper Mills Private Limited; 25% stake). SSPPPL had no operations initially until it took over an operational kraft paper manufacturing mill, previously under Godavari Pulp and Paper Mills Private Limited (GPPMPL; also presided over by Mr. Pankaj K. Mansingka), at Kurkumbh, Pune (Maharashtra) in March 2013. SSPPPL is currently engaged in the manufacture of low BF kraft paper, which is used primarily in the packaging industry, for making corrugated boxes, liners, textile tubes, duplex cartons etc. The manufacturing capacity of the unit is 16,000 metric tonnes per annum (MTPA).
During FY2014, the company reported net loss of Rs. 0.90 crore on operating income of Rs.30.15 crore
