Incorporated in 1996, R.A. Shaikh Paper Mills Private Limited (RSP) is promoted by Mr Abbas Nabi Shaikh, is engaged in manufacturing of kraft papers [ranging from 120 to 250 Grams Per Square Meter (GSM)], which find application in the packaging industry especially for making corrugated boxes. The company has its manufacturing facility located at Vapi, Gujarat with an installed capacity of 54,000 Metric Tons Per Annum (MTPA) as on March 31, 2014.
The waste paper being the major raw material is procured from both domestic and international markets (primarily UAE & USA) with imports forming around 22.47% for FY14. The product is widely catered to various states namely Gujarat, Maharashtra, Daman & Diu, Dadra & Nagar Haveli, Goa and other states with exports of around 1.83% primarily to UAE as on March 31, 2014.
