Trident Paper plans expansion programme at Dhoula paper mill

Trident Paper is implementing an expansion programme at its Dhoula paper Mill, Barnala in Punjab. The project involves the augmentation of paper production from 175000TPA to 210000TPA and incrementing the captive cogeneration from 45.9 MW to 90.9 MW. The power plant will use straw and wood as fuel. The project will also upgrade paper machines 1 & 2 capacity from 375 tpd to 550 tpd, upgradation of existing ECF straw pulp mill capacity from 225 tpd to 280 tpd.
